Thought I would give an example to better illustrate my point. Last week I overheard a good friend of mine on a phone call with the service department of a large group of car dealerships. As it happens his SUV is just short of the warranty by 30 miles and has a serious mechanical issue. The warranty company declined the claim...and so he has a dead rig stuck in service with a $1,700 repair order. What sort of title is that? Who would do such a thing? Someone who will likely miss their target...that's who!

I'm sure you have seen this happen...to a close friend or someone you work with...they see something curious or intruguing [point] go after this item [shoot] and then tries to figure out how to get it [aim].

What is on YOUR AGENDA?

Yep, that's right – after all you are all you think about! Even if or when we are 'acting' in the interest of others it all boils down to what will ultimately be best for us. And what is best for our interests...maybe those closest to us.

So you say...”That's nice Dave. What does that have to do with 'Transparency'?” Here is a crazy thought – lay it all on the table. Ask the other party what their agenda is too. Why hide behind the facts?

What I have found is that for every action there is a motive. There is something compelling them to act. Something compelling. This should be fairly straight forward though we all know of folks that say one thing and then do something else entirely.
