Heads Up Small Business!

You should seriously consider joining/being actively involved in the North Idaho Tourism group on this site and attending the North Idaho Tourism Summit in October 2010!

Although not directly a "tourism industry business" (like hotels, tour coordinators, etc...), your business may directly benefit from the information regarding the "vision" being cast for our area as many small businesses are a "base support" for the tourism industry (like the boutiques, restaurants, spas etc...).

Check out these quotes from participants at the most recent summit after being asked "What impact has attending the NI Tourism Summit 2010 had on you and/or your business"?!

One said "you could take the things that were said at the summit and use them in any business that you are involved in, not just tourism related, which is why it was such valuable information"!

Another said "This by far was the best Summit. Roger's presentation really made me think about my customers. I am now in the process of building a website that will include all the antique shops in north idaho and will include day trips for our customers to do. I realize that I need to add some beauty to the front of the building. I am working with the other business in my complex to do the samething in the spring".

Finally, "I have a much better understanding of tourism industry concepts. Being fairly new to tourism, Roger's no nonsense presentation at the summit has given me the ability to "pass" along the information to those in our area unable to attend the event"!

Looking for somewhere that would have free wi-fi access, meeting room, & place where people can bring laptops so would need several power outlets.

Anyone know of a free or inexpensive meeting location in CDA/PF for 15 people with a projector available? If so, please contact me asap. I'm looking for a location for an essential oil workshop.
