2 Hands PT tip of the week. If you are spending alot of time sitting behind a computer or the TV, your hamstrings will adaptively shorten, so make sure you are stretching them everyday-- 30 second minimum hold, no bouncing and repeat 5 times on each side. If for any reason this causes significant Low back pain, I would not do it.

I agree with Tom, it is a great program and as a healthcare provider, I think it really makes sense for your body.
Will be at the Kroc tonight for water polo, great workout if you can tread water. Also, contact me if anyone wants to learn better swimming strokes I usually have some time before water polo starts at 730. call me at 661-7167 if you want me to meet you up there.

I have been on the Isagenix program for 100 days and I'm looking at my before and after photos. Truly amazing! 30lbs lost, lean muscle gained. Its easy, its inexpensive and it has changed my life. I can't wait for the next 100 days.

Cathy- at some point I just may take you up on that. Been "in the water" for years, even owned a pool, but don't "swim". It's the shoulder thing.

If anyone wants to learn to swim better, I coached for years in college. I am can do a little teaching on good stroke techniques, breathing, and training at the Kroc. I am trying to go Tuesday mornings 9 am ish if interested. cathy

I have the Skinny bitch book as well. Although, I can't diet. I just can't. Never been successful with dieting. I last about 3 days tops.

Might I also suggest Hundred Year Lie. You can go to www.hundredyearlie.com for a great deal of info. This is WHY we choose a cleansing lifestyle.

My favorite "diet" book of all time is Skinny Bitch. It's not so much a diet book but more of a motivation for a lifestyle change. It makes you realize just all the nasty things we consume. I have made just a few of the changes they suggest and I have lost some weight and have more energy. It's a fun read too.

Some great conversations happening here! I know that you have Time Warner Cable in Cd'A, but I think you may have a similar feature to what I enjoy on Comcast. I have access to Exercise TV and dozens of other workouts ranging from 8 minutes to an hour. It gives me great variety and for a busy, working Mom who doesn't have time for a gym, this is my answer! Also try exercisetv.com. First time I've been consistent about working out in years thanks to this programming!!
